Percentage of Population under the Poverty Line
In Brazil, there is about 21.4 percent of the population under the poverty line. That means that 21.4 percent of the population is in poverty when it was calculated at about January 9. This relates to one of the factors that shift the demand curve, income because if 21.4 percent of the population is in poverty, the people under poverty would have a low income and the demand for certain things would be lower than if it was 11.4 percent. One reason that 21.4 percent of the population is under the poverty line could be that a lot of the people are unemployed but are currently looking for a job. |
